Many of my clients are high-achieving professional moms who love their careers and families, but feel burnt out and overwhelmed. I help them achieve greater work-life balance so they can be more present, peaceful, and truly fulfilled.
I started my coaching journey in 2019 and got my first of three certifications in 2021. Before that, I spent nearly 13 years in corporate sales, where I loved training new hires. While I consistently exceeded expectations and even won President's Club awards, the most rewarding part was seeing new hires develop and grow during their first year.
Witnessing that transformation sparked a passion to help others in a more meaningful way. That's when I discovered life coaching and decided to dedicate myself to empowering women to create lives they truly love. There's something incredibly fulfilling about seeing someone grow and evolve. I find immense joy in being a facilitator in my clients' journeys.
One of my clients, a new hire in sales, felt overwhelmed by pressure from her manager to deliver results but wasn't sure where to start. When stressed, she'd procrastinate by scrolling through social media or making photo albums of her kids.
We talked about the specific goals she wanted to achieve within a week, how much time each task might take, and what tasks she enjoyed most. Based on her answers, we created an action plan with small, daily steps to get her the results her manager expected.
We also dug deeper into her feelings of overwhelm and why she turned to procrastination. I helped her identify limiting beliefs and develop more empowering thoughts.
At the beginning of each session, I ask clients to share at least one win from the previous week. During our next session, this client shared that she completed all the action steps. She discovered some tasks took less time than expected, even exceeded her manager's expectations, and even came up with a new approach for her territory. When she felt overwhelmed by competing priorities, instead of scrolling through her phone, she recalled our empowering phrase, wrote down her idea, refocused on the task at hand, and avoided succumbing to overwhelm.
I blend health and wellness coaching with life coaching – I have certifications in both areas. But my real expertise comes from my own experience. For the past 13 years, I've juggled various roles in corporate America, all while becoming a mom. This journey forced me to actively seek work-life balance.
